In celebration of Vans‘ 60th anniversary, Paura, helmed by designer Danilo Paura, has teamed up with the iconic skate-shoe brand for a punk-inspired footwear collab. The Paura x Vans Authentic Collection reinterprets the timeless low‑top silhouette through an experimental and rebellious creative lens.
Comprising two distinct variants, each pair features a premium canvas upper with a muted, earthy palette that blends black, brown and neutral tones for understated versatility. Across the entirety of the upper, the design showcases an airbrushed checkered diamond pattern that delivers a rugged, hand-crafted twist to Vans’ signature checkerboard motif. Furthering this weathered finish, the sneakers are intentionally scuffed, cut and marked up to mimic the lived-in energy of a heavy skate session, all while being outfitted with fuzzy shoelaces that evoke the cozy texture of premium knitwear pieces.
