Stone Island is taking over Milan Design Week 2026, officially unveiling its revived “NO SEASONS” capsule. The project updates a timeless outerwear archetype, originally developed by Massimo Osti, focusing purely on material evolution and continuous wear.
The NO SEASONS collection zeroes in on a singular jacket design, modernized with a three-dimensional hood, an articulated central panel, concealed zipper chest pockets, and adjustable snap cuffs. Shifting the focus entirely to construction, each piece is dyed in the same ‘piombo’ color, allowing the specific textile to dictate the final tonal output. The six distinct iterations leverage Stone Island’s textile mastery, utilizing Tela Resinata made with 50% recycled cotton, light-refracting Prismatic Nylon-TC, and the military-derived Raso Gommato Transparent Cover-TC. Rounding out the lineup are the shape-shifting David-TC, ultra-tight Crinkle Reps NY, and a raw-edge Panno wool-nylon blend.
To present the garments, Stone Island tapped Milan-based studio NM3 to design a site-specific installation inside a disused swimming pool at Capsule Plaza. The immersive space features a dry-assembled metal vitrine system, a suspended 4×8 meter LED wall broadcasting visuals by 700×100, and a bespoke horn sound system engineered by Friendly Pressure.
