Renowned for its meticulously designed retail spaces, Aesop brings its aesthetic into the home with the official release of the Aposē Table Lamp. Conceived by the brand’s own in-house architects, the luminaire made its initial debut at Salone del Mobile Milano 2026 and is purpose-built to bathe domestic interiors in a calming, subtle light.
Produced in limited numbers, the Aposē is a celebration of heritage European craftsmanship, uniting the expertise of multiple family-run workshops. The lamp is anchored by a solid brass base that is first sand-cast at a historic 1874 foundry in Helmstedt, Germany. From there, the shell is spun from a single brass sheet on a lathe by artisans in Scorzè, Italy. Expected to tarnish naturally, the brass will develop a distinct patina unique to each owner over time.
Atop the metal foundation rests a gently frosted glass crown, mouth-blown at 1,500°C by expert glassblowers in Monastier, Italy. This diffuser houses an 11W, 2400K dimmable LED light source controlled via an electronic 24V dimmer switch on its black cable, radiating a delicate and even warmth. Weighing in at 12kg and measuring 360mm in height, the final components are meticulously assembled, screwed, and quality-checked in Brescia, Italy.
The Aesop Aposē Table Lamp is available for pre-order now via the official Aesop Aposē webstore. Phased global deliveries will begin in June for Europe, August for the UK, USA, and Japan, and October for Australia, Mainland China, and Hong Kong SAR.
