Continuing a long-standing creative partnership, Junya Watanabe MAN and New Balance have officially unveiled their latest collaborative effort, the Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance MT10T. First previewed during the brand’s Spring/Summer 2026 runway show, the silhouette merges technical outdoor performance with avant-garde minimalist aesthetics. The collection is scheduled to arrive at select retailers on April 24.
The MT10T serves as a modern evolution of the New Balance MT10, an off-road runner originally debuted in 2011 as part of the “Minimus” line designed to promote natural foot movement. This collaborative version replaces traditional performance cues with sophisticated visual elements inspired by smart-casual footwear like loafers and Mary Janes. The upper is updated with premium leather and nubuck, maintaining a sleek, low-profile slip-on form that omits standard lacing for a progressive look.
Despite its refined exterior, the sneaker retains its rugged trail DNA through a distinctive rubber mudguard and a functional Vibram outsole. The outsole features rounded lugs engineered for multi-directional traction and superior grip on varying terrain. Branding remains understated, with custom joint logos placed on the tongue to signal the partnership.
The Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance MT10T drops April 24 at Junya Watanabe MAN retailers nationwide.
