Dior has officially revealed its latest Easter offerings, headlined by a monumental Chocolate Egg crafted by multi-starred chef Yannick Alléno alongside a new Dior Maison decorative ceramic piece. Designed to elevate shared seasonal moments, the delectable release merges haute couture heritage with high-end gastronomy.
The Yannick Alléno-designed sculpture is constructed from a blend of dark and white chocolate, directly referencing the Christian Dior signature medallion punctuated by a bow. Hidden within the oversized egg is a multitude of chocolate surprises detailed with the brand’s iconic cannage pattern, button motifs, and ‘CD’ initials. These internal treats utilize a textured composition of hazelnuts, almonds, puffed rice praline, and sobacha to deliver a crispy finish that honors the founding couturier’s love for culinary pleasures.
Expanding the seasonal drop, Dior Maison introduces a highly detailed decorative ceramic piece to its Trompe-l’œil collection. The artwork features a lifelike hen and colorful eggs resting on delicate plates, paying direct homage to 18th-century trompe-l’œil aesthetics. Crafted with remarkable precision, the ceramic figures blur the boundary between playful art and culinary delight.
