Aman has expanded its prestigious real estate portfolio with the unveiling of its first Six-Bedroom Villa at Amangiri in Utah‘s breathtaking Canyon Country. Conceived as a fully serviced private compound rather than a singular dwelling, the 12,000-square-foot residence sits on nine acres of wilderness, perfectly blending the brand’s refined hospitality with a spatial philosophy rooted deeply in its surrounding natural environment.
The striking villa was designed by Marwan Al-Sayed of MASASTUDIO—one of the three architects who originally conceived the Amangiri resort back in 2009. His return ensures a seamless architectural continuity, utilizing low-lying volumes that emerge organically from the rocky terrain with a sense of geological inevitability. Built with a tonal palette of stone, concrete, and wood, the residence mirrors the desert itself. Unique oculus skylights draw the desert sky inward, while vast glass planes frame the shifting natural light and the iconic sandstone rock formations outside.
Operating as a hybrid between a private residence and luxury resort infrastructure, the villa is the first of 12 private homes planned for the Canyon Country site. It accommodates up to 18 guests across six expansive suites, supported by discreet, dedicated staff quarters and a full-service kitchen designed for private chefs. The interior also boasts multiple wellness-focused spaces, including a private spa, a fitness room, and expansive living and dining areas that echo Amangiri’s broader ethos of retreat and restoration.
Outside, the property successfully dissolves the boundary between the built environment and the vast Southern Utah wilderness. A stunning 118-foot swimming pool stretches along the horizon line, complemented by a series of outdoor dining courts, fire features, and shaded lounges. Walled gardens and sheltered terraces create a calibrated sequence of exposure and refuge, allowing the building’s open-plan volumes to feel completely continuous with the landscape beyond.
