Japanese label WIND AND SEA is officially launching the “WIND AND SEA 8th Anniversary Collection” to commemorate eight years of connecting culture and streetwear. Founded in Tokyo in 2018, the brand is revisiting its roots by updating its original designs through a contemporary lens.
The anniversary range is split into two distinct tiers: regular staples and exclusive rework pieces. The standard lineup breathes new life into the brand’s 2018 beginnings, introducing the OG SEA L/S TEE and SCRIPT SEA L/S TEE in vibrant neon colorways, alongside the graphic-driven NUMBER EIGHT TEE. The iconic script logo makes its return to anchor these core items.
On the more experimental side, the “REWORK” capsule delivers one-of-a-kind garments constructed entirely from vintage clothing. Highlighting the “Built From The Past” ethos, this tier includes the NUMBER EIGHT REWORK JACKET and PANT, both arriving in beige, as well as mixed-material tote bags and caps. Each reworked piece possesses a unique character, ensuring that no two items are exactly alike.
The regular items from the WIND AND SEA 8th Anniversary Collection drop in-store on Saturday, March 28, at the brand’s Tokyo, Osaka, and Hankyu Umeda locations. An online lottery release follows on Sunday, March 29 via the official WIND AND SEA webstore, while the exclusive reworked pieces will be strictly limited to the WIND AND SEA TOKYO flagship.
