Nike is expanding its unconventional footwear lineup with the upcoming release of the women’s Nike Air Rift in “Polka Dot/Sail/Black.” Anticipated to drop sometime in 2026, the new iteration brings a bold graphic update to the polarizing silhouette that originally debuted in 1996.
Maintaining the model’s core DNA, the forthcoming release features a distinct Sail and Black color scheme. The most notable design update is the introduction of large polka dots applied directly to the upper, adding a striking visual contrast to the unique slip-on profile. Technically and conceptually, the shoe stays entirely true to its historical roots.
