South Korean label MYSTEPHENM introduces its latest narrative chapter with the VOL. 4.0 collection, titled “Unravel.” Departing from the brand’s previous explorations of futurism and external phenomena, this collection turns inward to document the complex journey of self-awareness.
The concept centers on the “unraveling” and “reconstructing” of the self, choosing to highlight the raw, unfinished process of identity formation rather than presenting a polished, final version. Asymmetrical silhouettes and displaced details serve as visual metaphors for progression, reflecting the layered emotions and distorted memories that shape identity over time.
The range comprises 16 pieces, spanning outerwear, blouses, tees, pants and skirts, all embodying the collection’s thematic philosophy with a mix of structural experimentation and fluidity. Key pieces include deconstructed knitwear and layered outerwear that mimic the way memories and emotions accumulate over time. The palette remains sophisticated yet minimalistic, anchored by black, white and deep grays tones rooted in modern urban utility.
Prices range from $70 – $205 USD, VOL. 4.0 “Unravel” is set to release on March 9, 2026 at 6 p.m. KST through MYSTEPHENM’s webstore.
