TAG Heuer has unveiled the Connected Calibre E5 45mm x Formula 1 Edition, a luxury smartwatch designed to capture the thrill of the Grand Prix season.
Designed to channel the physical essence of racing, the watch is housed in a robust 45mm grade-2 titanium case finished with a sleek black DLC coating. The design is accented by a black polished ceramic bezel engraved with the distinct phases of a Grand Prix weekend.
The watch features a dynamic “Race Track” face that adapts to each of the 24 Grand Prix weekends, displaying circuit outlines, flags and race names, while a moving dot tracks passing seconds around the dial. It delivers a fully immersive Formula 1® experience through its exclusive app, which provides race schedules, results, driver standings, and instant updates via smart widgets. Custom sounds and notifications mimic pit radio communications, while animated bezel markings highlight each phase of the race weekend, from practice sessions to the final lap.
Beneath the sapphire crystal touchscreen, the watch is powered by the Calibre E5 system and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 5100+ chipset, delivering a battery life of up to 3 days in “Low Power Mode” and integrating a comprehensive suite of health sensors, including dual-band GPS and heart rate tracking.
