KATSEYE member Manon Bannerman announced she will be taking a temporary hiatus from the global girl group to prioritize her health and wellbeing. According to the official notice, the decision for Bannerman to step back from the spotlight followed open and thoughtful conversations among the group and its management. HYBE and Geffen Records emphasized their full support for the 23-year-old Swiss singer’s choice to focus on her personal care, ensuring fans that the overarching commitment of the group remains intact:

“Hello.

We fully support this decision. KATSEYE remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right.

Thank you to our EYEKONS for your continued love, patience, and understanding.

Despite the temporary departure of one of its members, KATSEYE is not pausing its current trajectory. The management team confirmed that the remaining five members— Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung — will proceed with all previously scheduled activities. The group recently garnered significant industry momentum following dual Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
