Breitling has marked its high-profile return to Formula One™ by announcing a multi-year global partnership with Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team. Officially joining as the team’s official watch partner, the Swiss watchmaker unveiled the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team. This collaboration celebrates a shared century-long heritage of speed and precision, drawing parallels between Breitling’s early speed-measuring chronographs and Aston Martin’s history of handcrafted performance vehicles.
Limited to 1,959 pieces, the watch pays tribute to the year Aston Martin first entered Formula One. Crafted from lightweight titanium- the first time the material has been used on a Navitimer – the 43 mm case is paired with a carbon-fiber dial inspired by F1® cockpit materials. Aston Martin Racing Green and lime accents drawn from the team’s livery add distinctive motorsport character, while a textured leather strap recalls the look of a racing harness.
At the heart of the watch is the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer boasting a 70-hour power reserve. The movement’s inner workings are visible through an open sapphire-crystal caseback, which features a matte-black tungsten rotor engraved with the team logo. Additional caseback inscriptions include “Instruments for Drivers” and “One of 1959”.
