Barbour and Kaptain Sunshine have unveiled their third collaboration for Spring/Summer 2026. Building on the success of their previous seasonal partnerships, the latest collection finds its creative foundation in maritime workwear, blending Barbour’s history of protecting mariners from the elements with Kaptain Sunshine’s penchant for exaggerated, modern silhouettes. The designs emphasize modularity and everyday utility, leaning into a streetwear sensibility while maintaining the high-quality craftsmanship associated with both brands.
The apparel lineup centers on reimagined archival styles, specifically the early ’90s Endurance Jacket and the cycle-inspired Transport Jacket from 2000. Notable pieces include the Endurance Casual Jacket and the Transport Smock Casual Jacket, both of which feature innovative two-in-one construction. These garments are crafted from 200-gram cotton canvas or lightweight dry-waxed cotton and include removable, contrasting windproof overgarments inspired by safety vests. Functional details such as storm welt pockets, side zips, and draw-cord hems underscore the collection’s nautical theme and are available in Light Olive, Dark Indigo, and Oatmeal colourways.
The collection is scheduled for a global launch on February 5, 2026, where it will be available through the official webstores of Barbour and Kaptain Sunshine, as well as select retail partners.
