A poetic sceny blending powdery iris with sensual warmth.
Summary
- Hermès debuts Musc Pallida in the Hermessence collection, crafted by Christine Nagel as a tribute to iris pallida with musks
- Part of the Fleur de Peau series, the fragrance retails at $465 USD through Hermès boutiques and online
Hermès has introduced Musc Pallida, the latest addition to the Hermessence fragrance collection. Conceived by Christine Nagel, Creative Director of Hermès Perfumes, the fragrance pays tribute to iris pallida, one of perfumery’s most precious raw materials. Nagel describes the composition as an “olfactory transposition of the saddle stitch,” where powdery iris and enveloping musks gently embrace, creating a scent that is both pure and captivating.
The design of bottle also reflects Hermès’ signature craftsmanship and attention to detail. The radiant lantern bottle appears in orange and gold tones, echoing the golden hues of iris, while the cap is sheathed in supple ivory leather with orange saddle stitching. As part of the Fleur de Peau series within Hermessence, Musc Pallida continues the line’s exploration of fragrances that cultivate intimacy with the skin, joining earlier creations such as Cuir d’Ange, Violette Volynka, and Oud Alezan.
Musc Pallida is currently available through Hermès boutiques and its webstore, retailing at $465 USD.
