Gothic Cheerleaders Rule at Chopova Lowena SS26
Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena-Irons’s signature chaotic energy ruled the second day of London Fashion Week.
Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena-Irons’s Chopova Lowena is unstoppable. After opening a sinister dollhouse complete with a Hellmann’s collaboration for Spring/Summer 2025, the design duo returns to London Fashion Week with “Cheerlore”.
For Spring/Summer 2026, Chopova Lowena welcomed guests with fuzzy characters at their runway entrance. They carried chips for new arrivals and escorted them to maekshift seating, formed into office chairs, baseball mitts, and more. Dancy-worthy punk tunes filled the venue with the brand’s signature chaotic energy, greeting the first looks, which were pure Chopova Lowena. This season’s collaboration arrived with Chilly’s, blasting metal bottles, carabiners, and food pots with seasonal insignia.
Ruffled hoodies were drenched in diverse textured fabrics, complemented by pierced skirts and coordinating handbags. Miniature dresses were accessorized with crossed chain necklaces, followed by larger-than-life fur coats with snakeskin trimmings. Prints and patterns collided on the runway, embellishing striking varisty jackets, cat-eared hoodies, and academic crewnecks. From cheer-printed tops to chained skirts and bedazzled bras, Chopova Lowena continues to stand out from the crowd.
