A24 has debuted the official trailer for the upcoming Spike Lee joint Highest 2 Lowest. A reimagining of Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 classic High and Low, it stars Denzel Washington, A$AP Rocky, Jeffrey Wright and Ilfenesh Hadera.
The film is set in modern-day New York City and sees the main character, David King (Washington), as a music mogul rather than a businessman attempting to buy out a shoe company. He becomes the target of a ransom plot by Yung Felon (Rocky), leaving King “jammed up in a life-or-death moral dilemma.”
