Kendrick Lamar‘s DAMN. has officially hit a whopping 10 billion Spotify streams.
This marks Dot’s first album to achieve this milestone, with DAMN. joining other hip-hop albums Juice WRLD‘s Goodbye & Good Riddance, Travis Scott‘s ASTROWORLD, Drake‘s Views and Scorpions, XXXTENTACION‘s ? and Post Malone‘s beerbongs & bentleys and Hollywood’s Bleeding.
DAMN. was released in April 2017 to critical and commercial success. Not only did the record win the GRAMMY for Best Rap Album, it also became the first non-classical/jazz album to receive the Pulitzer Prize for Music.
