Update: It’s been nearly a month since Aimé Leon Dore quietly shared a preview of its fourth New Balance 860v2 collaboration. Now, the brand has just launched three collaborative colorways of the sneaker via pre-order. Appearing in “Pink,” “White Multi,” and “Black Multi” color options, the sneaker begins with a breathable mesh that is covered by glossy overlays. The shoe’s typical N-ergy cushioning and ABZORB technology are also present, delivering comfort to each step. Nods to ALD come courtesy of the wordmark present at the tongue and sockliner, as well as the brand’s floral crest logo at the heel. Pairs can be pre-ordered today via Aimé Leon Dore at a price of $150 USD. Note that the estimated delivery window is set between February and March of next year.
Original Story: Aimé Leon Dore is no stranger to New Balance’s expansive arsenal of sneakers. The two have worked closely together for years now and recently saw ALD become the first New Balance brand partner to craft its own silhouette in collaboration with the brand, introducing the RC56. While ALD continues the rollout of its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, it has just teased what’s next from the two.
Included in ALD’s latest lookbook preview is a first look at two takes on the New Balance 860v2. This marks the fourth time that the duo has assembled a range of collaborative colorways since 2023. While the visuals are limited to one on-foot angle per shoe, a reasonable amount of detail is showcased. The first pair combines a pink base with glistening silver overlays and a touch of white at the forefoot of the midsole. As for the second colorway, it begins with a black upper that hosts orange and green notes at the upper and midsole respectively. ALD branding is also spotted at the uppermost portion of the tongue.
At the time of writing, neither Aimé Leon Dore nor New Balance have indicated when their two latest takes on the 860v2 sneaker will be arriving on shelves, with ALD merely stating that it is “coming soon.” Stay tuned for updates, including a complete look at each pair, as we currently expect both to drop later this year via Aimé Leon Dore around its typical price point of $150 USD.
