Voce Listening Room & Cocktail Bar Unveiled by Milan's Historic Triennale Museum
Luca Cipelletti of AR.CH.IT reimagined the 700sq ft space at the Palazzo dell Arte with a sophisticated soundwall, built with the help of hi-fi expert Giorgio Di Salvo, acoustic engineer Lucio Visentini, and acoustic panel manufacturer Knauf.

Historic cultural institution and museum space Triennale Milano has unveiled Voce, a new independent listening room and cocktail bar that will play host to Triennale’s music programming. From live performances to sound installations, meetings, and workshops, the 700 sq ft space at the park level of the Palazzo Dell Arte will be a lively space for year-round engagement.
Architect Luca Cipelletti of AR.CH.IT led the renovation of the Piano Parco space, a former outpost of the 60s nightclub, Piper. The updates expand upon Giovanni Muzio’s 1933 design of the museum, introducing a new rectangular framework supported by pillars that carve out three naves and a 2.2-meter-high band of sound-insulating and absorbing panels from floor to ceiling.
Crowning the space is a distributed mode speaker system crafted with the help of hi-fi expert Giorgio Di Salvo, acoustic engineer Lucio Visentini, and acoustic panel manufacturer Knauf. Elsewhere, lighting solutions were delivered by Italian studio Anonima Luci, who enabled monochromatic and gradient animation effects across the space, and a modular felt seating system was designed by Philippe Malouin and made by Meritalia.
From Tuesday to Sunday, the cocktail bar will be open from 6 pm to 2 am; however, for the first month, the space will be open for day visits from 10:30 am onwards. Voce is accessible both from inside Palazzo dell Arte from Viale Camoens.
