KEEN and Hiking Patrol Reunite for Hybrid Explorer's Sandal
Inspired by marine ecosystems.
After delivering their climbing-inspired Jasper “Rocks” sneaker in 2023, KEEN and Hiking Patrol have reunited to build a lightweight, hybrid footwear model dubbed the Hyperport H2 Sandal.
The summertime silhouette pays homage to marine ecosystems, with a textural facade modeled after those found between low and high tide. Available in “Algae Green” and “Okenia Pink” colorways, the model boasts an injected foam midsole, Aquagrip traction, and eco anti-odor control, making it the ideal shoe for outdoor explorers. Adjustable bungee cords tie the upper together for easy on-and-off wear, and the design’s “Original Fit” maximizes comfort with generous space.
In a statement, Hiking Patrol founder Wai Tsui said, “This marks our second collaboration with KEEN, a continued partnership grounded in a shared appreciation for the outdoors and functional design. Our first release introduced climbing-inspired shoes built for versatility and everyday wear. For our second drop, we’re shifting with the season, introducing sandals with the same mindset in a lighter, summer-ready form. Designed for warmer days and easy movement, it’s a tool for exploration.”
The KEEN x Hiking Patrol Hyperport H2 Sandal will launch on Thursday, May 1, in men’s and women’s sizes on both KEEN’s and Hiking Patrol’s webstores for $130 USD. Take a look at the design in the gallery above.
