Stone Island's Mussola Prismatica "Pietra" Coat Is a Glossy, Gorpy Gem
Built by bonding a superlight cotton muslin with a glossy, water- and wind-resistant polyurethane film.
After teasing a 40 Acre collaboration with Supreme on Tuesday, Spike Lee is back under fashion’s spotlight — this time, in an unmissable Stone Island coat. The legendary filmmaker is starring in the elevated outerwear label’s latest campaign, highlighting the 4100065_MUSSOLA PRISMATICA “PIETRA,” a $1,855 USD jacket that packs a shiny (and technical) punch.
The filmmaker-approved coat employs a superlight cotton muslin build with a glossy, water- and wind-resistant polyurethane film — a bonded textile that evolves the brand’s pre-existing Mussola Prismatica material. Here, though, a special resin is applied across the entire silhouette, along with a pigment dye that gives the final product an uneven finish, like “the stone of the desert,” in the brand’s words. The result is both parts gorpy and mod.

Zooming in, the coat includes one patch chest pocket with a hidden zip fastening, bellows hand pockets and a signature Stone Island badge on the sleeve. Under-sleeve vents, cotton mesh linings, and adjustable cuff snaps maximize the jacket’s versatility, while a detachable panel with two bellows pockets makes the design exceptionally functional for the guy carrying lots of stuff.
