Continuing to bring color to your everyday staple tech accessories, CASETiFY unveils a first-of-its-kind collaborative collection with celebrated artist Takashi Murakami. A part of the first-ever iCONS collection, this is also CASETiFY Travel’s first artist collaboration and a new frontier for the brand as it debuts its iteration of Murakami’s classic whimsical character, MR. DOB.

MR. DOB has existed in many forms since the artist created him in 1993. He’s become an essential part of Murakami’s visual language, so the artist was enthusiastic about building yet another new world around the figure by introducing the amusement park-inspired Murakami World. Each piece takes audiences on a journey through his artistic universe.

“I’m very happy to hear that MURAKAMI WORLD has received such a strong response,” says Takashi Murakami. “I look forward to seeing my work integrated into people’s lives in a new form, brought to life on the items and devices they use every day; I hope it will provide a new kind of art experience for everyone.”

The collection elevates CASETiFY classics, infusing them with a contemporary flair across a selection of  phone cases, keychains and headphone accessories decorated with pop bubble letters and imaginative graphics. Alongside these smaller accessories, the brand also rolled out a MR. DOB limited-edition Bounce carry-on, available in limited quantities. The carry-on will come in Cobalt Blue, Cherry Red and Matte Black colorways. Each has a customizable option, allowing travelers to add their initials to the small suitcases to put that personal spin on the new launch.

The release also includes a special-edition white camera ring, a collectible item exclusively available in one design. Alongside this CASETiFY iCONS product debut, the line also features three-dimensional MR. DOB AirPods cases, doubling as functional tech accessories and collectible art pieces. Additional drops, like the AirPod Max covers, show off the character’s iconic ears — a playful touch to an everyday staple.

Rounding out the collection is an exclusive MR. DOB trading card holder and a phone case dangler blind box. The dangler embraces the same vibrant color palette as the rest of the collection — white, blue, and pink — but each box is a surprise, so you never know what you may reveal.

Immerse yourself in MURAKAMI WORLD. The collection, ranging from $49-699 USD, will be available globally through CASETiFY’s online platform and select retail locations. Preview the complete collection or join the waitlist at casetify.com/co-lab/takashi-murakami before the global launch on April 11.
