Teasing a surprise pregnancy and a look at the first family in action.
The long-awaited official trailer for Marvel‘s upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps has arrived. In a “retro-futuristic, 1960s vibe,” Marvel gives audiences an glimpse of the first family in action.
The trailer begins with an introduction to the main group, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Stomre/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. The officially synopsis shares that the group finds themselves facing “their most daunting challenge yet.” Aside from the introductions, Marvel also teases Julia Garner‘s Silver Surfer and an unexpected pregnancy. The synopsis continues to read, “Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”
em>The Fantastic Four: First Steps is slated to be the first title of MCU’s Phase Six. Others cast in the film include Paul Walter-Hauser, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles.
