Cartier makes a remarkable return to Watches & Wonders in Geneva, presenting an array of innovative timepieces that range from elegant designs like the Privé Tank à Guichets to dazzling high-jewelry creations such as the Panthère de Cartier. By reinterpreting its rich heritage and stylistic codes, the Maison continues to exemplify its creativity and technical virtuosity, reaffirming its reputation as a watchmaker in haute horology.

Tank Louis

The Tank Louis Cartier watch has remained a timeless icon of sophistication, continuously evolving since its inception in 1922. As the successor to the Tank Normale, Louis Cartier refined its design by elongating the case, softening its angles and emphasizing a rectangular shape that has become synonymous with elegance.

In its latest iteration, Cartier presents the Tank Louis Cartier in a larger size, featuring a case that measures 8.18 mm in thickness, 38mm in height and a just a little under 28mm in width. Crafted in yellow gold, this new timepiece integrates the next-generation 1899 MC automatic Manufacture movement, preserving the watch’s signature proportions while enhancing its functionality. Its refined flinqué dial is complemented by blued-steel sword-shaped hands, a sapphire cabochon-set crown and a semi-matte grey alligator leather strap, seamlessly blending heritage with modern craftsmanship.

Privé Tank à Guichets

With dimensions of 37.6mm x 24.8mm, the Cartier Privé Tank à Guichets stays true to its original 1928 design, featuring the hour aperture at 12 o’clock, the minute aperture at 6 o’clock and the winding crown positioned at the top of the case. The satin-finished case, paired with polished horizontal brancards, enhances its refined silhouette while preserving the distinct elegance of the original model.

Powered by the specially developed caliber 9755 MC hand-wound movement, the Tank à Guichets incorporates jumping hours and dragging minutes, demonstrating the Maison’s technical prowess and elegant DNA. Limited to only 200 numbered pieces, the Privé Tank à Guichets captures the dynamic creative spirit of the Maison, providing collectors with a unique interpretation of one of Cartier’s most iconic designs.

Tressage

The Tressage watch by Cartier highlights the Maison’s exceptional ability to blend artistry and craftsmanship, transforming precious materials into breathtaking creations. Through gold, diamonds and precious stones, this timepiece embodies flamboyant originality while remaining faithful to Cartier’s distinctive codes. It showcases a bold design that balances innovation and tradition, echoing the creative spirit seen in Cartier’s Maillon, Coussin and Reflection models.

Crafted with yellow gold and characterized by its distinctive form, the Tressage watch reinterprets elements from the Maison’s design vocabulary to create a remarkable time-teller that is as sculptural as it is exquisite. This unique timepiece combines and contrasts forms, delivering an aesthetic that is both striking and harmonious.

Panthère de Cartier

This new reinterpretation of Cartier’s panther icon introduces an abstract coat design inspired by the patterns of zebras and tigers, featuring black and golden-brown lacquer motifs alongside pavé-set diamonds and vibrant orange and yellow spessartites. Complementing this craftsmanship, the snow-set dial is adorned with 145 brilliant-cut diamonds, further enhancing the timepiece’s luminous elegance.

Also composed of pink gold, the references incorporates a bracelet set with 398 brilliant-cut diamonds. Driven by a quartz movement, this exceptional creation reflects Cartier’s commitment to combining artistic innovation with technical precision, solidifying its place as a timeless symbol of elegance and creativity.

Panthère Jewelry

The Panthère Jewelry watch by Cartier embodies a seamless fusion of watchmaking and fine jewelry. This yellow gold hybrid timepiece exhibits a three-dimensional panther ready to pounce, while the rest of the piece highligts its meticulous sculptural details such as slender muscles, black lacquer spots and delicately crafted paw pads. Tsavorite eyes and an onyx nose enhance the lifelike character of the feline, while the black lacquer dial, diamond-paved bezel, and a diamond hour-marker at 12 o’clock emphasize contrasts and brilliance, creating a striking yet harmonious design.

Complete with a quartz movement and adorned with 23 brilliant-cut diamonds, this unique creation bridges the gap between functional timekeeping and sculptural artistry. Cartier’s Panthère Jewellery Watch is both a symbol of power and loyalty, staying true to the values it represents while redefining elegance in contemporary watchmaking.
