Panerai Unveils the Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech™ at Watches & Wonders 2025

Highlighted from Panerai’s new lineup of timekeeping novelties at Watches & Wonders 2025 is the Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech™. Going by the reference name of PAM01575, the timepiece is crafted from Panerai’s Platinumtech™ —  an innovative alloy made with 95% pure platinum with increased hardness to standard platinum.

Its 44mm case provides enhanced scratch resistance and notable heft, while the signature crown-protecting device and striking blue sapphire crystal dial evoke the brand’s maritime heritage. The dial offers a transparent view of the intricate perpetual calendar mechanism, combining rich blue tones with hour markers coated in Super-LumiNova® X2 for legibility even in dark environments.

Hours, minutes, a 12-hour GMT hand, a 24-hour GMT subdial, small seconds,  a day-night indicator and perpetual calendar functions are displayed seamlessly through the watch’s transparent design. Through its sapphire caseback, additional elements like the month, year and leap year indicators are also visible. All of these functions are powered by the P.4100 caliber, with a three-day power reserve. The inscription “Calendario Perpetuo” serves as a nod to the Maison’s Italian heritage and the perpetual calendar’s technical prowess, showcasing the intricate mechanics within this elegant design.
