Kevin Durant‘s star basketball career began at the University of Texas and to make sure he is honoring his roots, the originally released 2012 Nike KD 4 showcases his school pride. The “Texas Longhorns” colorway is a nod to the school’s colors, arriving in the university’s orange and contrasted with white details. The low-top is constructed with a synthetic leather upper that is combined with breathable mesh panels. The midfoot strap stands out in the orange to complement the full-length Zoom-cushioned midsole. As a nod to KD’s legacy, the Texas Longhorns logo is also placed on the tongue while KD’s logo is set on the heels. The re-release for this version is expected to arrive this holiday.
