J-Hope Wants a Girl Like "Mona Lisa" in His New Music Video
A song specially created for ARMY.
J-Hope, the dynamic performer and rapper of BTS, is making waves once again with his latest digital single, “Mona Lisa.” Dropping just two weeks after “Sweet Dreams” (feat. Miguel), the track was first performed live during his Hope on the Street solo tour. Blending hip-hop and R&B elements with a groovy rhythm, funky chords and J-Hope’s signature flair, the song showcases his artistry in full force.
Describing “Mona Lisa” as a “performance-driven track,” J-Hope expressed his excitement about releasing a song crafted especially for ARMY (BTS’ dedicated fandom). Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s legendary painting, the track playfully compares true beauty to the Mona Lisa, using it as a metaphor for his ideal type. He also subtly references his relationship with Louis Vuitton, singing, “Love the way you take the stress and Louis off of me.”
Set against the backdrop of an art exhibition, the music video features J-Hope’s signature groovy dance moves, seamlessly blending artistry and movement to bring the song’s theme to life. Watch the “Mona Lisa” music video above and stream it now on all major platforms.
