Apple Rumored to Make iPhone 17 Air "Completely Port-Free"
Expected to be Apple’s thinnest iPhone yet.

Apple is slated to bring its thinnest iPhone ever to market this fall. Bloomberg‘s tech insider Mark Gurman reports on the rumor that the product, which is said to be called the iPhone 17 Air, may not include the USB-C port.
In the Power On newsletter, Gurman claims that the tech giant planned “to make the Air device Apple’s first completely port-free iPhone.” However, Apple reportedly shelved the idea to avoid new problems with EU regulators, however, since the company wants to hold onto introducing slimmer iPhones down the line, the idea has resurfaced. Apple is expected to release four new iPhones this year, including the iPhone 17 Air which is said to be around 2mm thinner than the rest.
Over the weekend, leaker Sonny Dickson shared a series of photos of iPhone 17 dummies, teasing those curious about how thin the Air phone could be. Gurman reported that the iPhone 17 Air is said to be priced around $900 USD and will feature a 6.6-inch screen, Dynamic Island and the Camera Control button. So far nothing has been confirmed just yet.
