After launching the second capsule under his new Outdoor Supply banner last month, outdoorsy designer Reese Cooper has returned to reveal his flagship label’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, titled “En Plein Air” (French for “In the Open Air”).

“In short, a study in juxtaposition between silhouette, material & garment and its context,” Cooper wrote on Instagram of the label’s latest manifesto. In practice, his fashions include traditional oversized military shapes made from woven houndstooth, as well as trench coats and tailored trousers employing three-layer waterproof nylon. Double-breasted wool blazers, meanwhile, are filled with adjustable bunjee cords, much like those normally used in tactical gear. Quarter-zip hoodies boast curvy, asymmetrical zippers down the chest; denim sets place an emphasis on roomy storage pockets, and fleece jackets recruit utility belts across the chest.

As usual, Cooper shot the lookbook himself. He and his model trope embarked on an eight-hour round trip drive to “the exact spot on the side of the road that gave the inspiration for this collection late last year,” the designer explained. In the spot that started it all, Cooper’s collection is clearly the product of a true nature lover—built on a color and textural palette inspired by the great outdoors and equipped with all the necessary equipment to go out and enjoy it.
