BEAMS Is Opening a Los Angeles Pop-Up Next Month
After BEAMS PLUS made its debut on American grounds with a temporary LA store in December, the Tokyo retailer’s flagship menswear line is taking the SoCal city next month.
BEAMS PLUS made a historic (and long-awaited) leap to America in December of last year, when the dressy offshoot label of parent retailer BEAMS set up a temporary store in Los Angeles for the first time. Now, thanks to much fanfare, the Tokyo-hailing store’s casual menswear line BEAMS, named after the company itself, is heading to the SoCal city for its first American pop-up.
Open from March 7 to April 20, BEAMS’ pop-up will be located in the same location as the BEAMS PLUS storefront: 620 Imperial Street. The exclusive shop will house the comfort-first label’s Spring 2025 collection, which, in the brand’s words, embodies “Tokyo’s contemporary casual style.” In addition to the main seasonal collection, the store will also house “the A,” BEAMS’ new line aimed at redefining what it means to be “authentic” through the lens of American casualwear.
In another corner of the pop-up, BEAMS will be selling pieces from its surf and skate-inspired sublabel SSZ, as well as exclusive collaborations with brands including Levi’s and NEEDLES.
