Unified Goods has opened a new retail space in the heart of Soho, London, establishing a dedicated destination for collectors of physical media and unusual cultural ephemera. Located at 5 Wardour Mews, the store continues the brand’s tradition of unconventional retail environments – previously operating above a Victorian pub in London Bridge – by situating itself down a discreet alleyway that reinforces its emphasis on discovery and experience. The opening marks a significant expansion for the brand, which has built a global following for its curated approach to rare media and nostalgic artifacts.
The new Soho space is packed with a curated and eclectic inventory spanning rare collectibles, media, and apparel, all elegantly presented within museum-worthy glass cabinets. The stock includes rare VHS tapes, Japanese media, books, promotional items and prints. Visitors can expect to find a range of highly desirable vintage print media, such as sought-after copies of i-D and The Face, alongside bizarre promotional-only film items and seldom-seen tour tees. Additionally, the space carries Unified Goods’ own branded merchandise.
Beyond retail, the new location is designed as an interactive experience, featuring a legacy console gaming area and continuous VHS playback shown on discontinued 1990s BBC TV monitors. The store is currently open to the public from Thursday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments can be booked via their online store and Instagram for visits on Monday through Wednesday.
