A New Mission to Earthphase MoonSwatch Is Launched In Honor of This Year’s Final Supermoon
Aptly dubbed “Cold Moon.”
Summary
- Swatch unveils a new Mission to Earthphase MoonSwatch to coincide with Cold Moon on December 4, 2025
- Coming in a white Bioceramic case, the watch features a glowing earthphase and Snoopy-themed Moonshine Gold moonphase
Swatch and OMEGA are gearing up for the upcoming “Cold Moon” with a new Mission to Earthphase MoonSwatch in Moonshine Gold.
The “Cold Moon” edition distinguishes itself through a striking white Bioceramic case, crown and pushers, paired with a matching white rubber strap and Velcro closure. Its opaline dial features hour markers coated in Grade A Super-LumiNova for a luminous green glow in the dark. At the 10 o’clock position, the earthphase indicator shows Earth with oceans that glow blue under UV light, accompanied by a Snoopy and Woodstock illustration gazing at the planet from the Moon. A hidden phrase, visible only under UV light, adds a layer of intrigue and reinforces the collection’s imaginative spirit.
A unique moonphase complication at the 2 o’clock subdial further elevates the design. Two radiant full moons, both coated in OMEGA’s proprietary Moonshine Gold, are displayed, one rendered in Snoopy’s distinctive style and the other featuring a snowflake motif. Each snowflake design is individually laser-engraved, ensuring that no two watches are identical, echoing the natural uniqueness of snowflakes.
This new Mission to Earth phase MoonSwatch will release on December 4 – timed to coincide with the actual Cold Moon, which marks 2025’s last supermoon. It will retail for $450 USD and will only be available to purchase through select Swatch stores. For more information, head over to Swatch’s official website.
