'Hitman' Players Can Now Hunt Eminem's Alter Ego, Slim Shady

A new exclusive target mission, “Eminem vs. Slim Shady“, is now available in Hitman: World of Assassination. Additionally, IO Interactive has confirmed there are plans for a new installment, Hitman 4.
This limited-time collaborative mission features the rap icon Eminem, who enters the World of Assassination as both himself and his alter ego, Slim Shady. Following his attempt to bury his other self in the song “The Death of Slim Shady,” Eminem now enlists Agent 47 to permanently erase his past. The mission is accompanied by a new DLC pack that includes Eminem-themed cosmetic items, such as the MC Fit and the Jar of Mom’s Spaghetti Sauce.
The news of the collaboration was coupled with the confirmation of Hitman 4 by IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak. Abrak stated, “So of course there will be more Hitman… But right now, I think we need to get to the other side of this year and next year you’ll get more news about Hitman co-op, because I think co-op is a really, really good extension to the universe, and will introduce very interesting mechanics and combinations in World of Assassination. But we will, after that, be talking about the next Hitman — because, of course, there’s going to be a next Hitman.”
The “Eminem vs. Slim Shady” exclusive target mission is playable from now until December 31. While enjoying the new content, fans can look forward to more details about Hitman 4 in the future.
