Salomon and Miami-based Andrew are collaborating for the first time to reimagine the popular XT-6 silhouette. This new design pays tribute to Miami’s vibrant, sun-soaked culture, drawing unique inspiration from a cornerstone of the city’s culinary scene: the Florida stone crab.
The silhouette itself is a visual homage, crafted to capture the complete sensory experience of a stone crab feast. The colorway is based on the delicacy’s palette, showcasing a gradient of coral shell and creamy taupes that reflect the crab’s exterior and flesh. Playful, culinary details are integrated into the design, including glossy metallic accents that evoke the silver serving trays found in Miami’s classic seafood establishments. Flashes of citrus green recall the traditional lime and lemon wedges served alongside the dish, and an icy printed sock-liner represents the crushed ice used to keep the claws chilled.
The Andrew x Salomon XT-6 will be first released exclusively through Andrew’s online store starting December 4, followed by a global launch on December 8 via Salomon’s official website.
