Breguet has unveiled the Classique Répétition Minutes Ref. 7365, a refined minute repeater wristwatch released as part of the brand’s 250th anniversary celebrations. Housed in a 39.1mm case crafted from 18k “Breguet gold,” the timpiece boasts a thickness of 10.8mm. Its blue grand feu enamel dial features the Maison’s secret signature and applied Breguet numerals, while the case design incorporates longer, tapered lugs and the Quai de l’Horloge motif seen across anniversary models.
The Ref. 7365 establishes a new benchmark for minute repeater functionality, notably being the first water-resistant minute repeater ever created by Breguet, boasting water resistance of 3 ATM. This achievement was realized by fitting the most sensitive area – the complication activation lock – with specialized gaskets. Acoustic performance is optimized through the use of gold gongs, a patented design that attaches directly to the patented Breguet gold case, ensuring perfect and harmonious sound transmission due to the continuity of the materials.
On top of that, the Calibre 1896 is fitted with a silicon escapement (including the balance spring, anchor and escape wheel), which enhances stability and magnetic resistance, complete with a 75-hour power reserve.
Limited to just 25 pieces, the Classique Répétition Minutes Ref. 7365 comes priced at $369,600 USD and is delivered in a specialized resonator presentation box. For more details, visit Breguet’s official website or boutiques.
