The chaotic, satirical world of Amazon’s The Boys is officially crossing into the gaming realm with its first-ever dedicated video game adaptation, a stealth-action VR game titled, The Boys: Trigger Warning. Developed by the Emmy Award-winning Brazilian studio Arvore and published by Sony Pictures Virtual Reality (SPVR), the game is scheduled for release in 2026 on the PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest platforms.
Breaking away from previous cameos and character skins in other franchises, Trigger Warning fully immerses players into the war against corrupt Supes. The narrative introduces an original character who is violently forced to become a Supe after uncovering a gruesome Vought secret. The player then joins Billy Butcher’s vigilante crew to infiltrate the Vought corporation and unleash revenge.
The creators worked closely with the show’s team to ensure the game captures the franchise’s signature blend of dark humor, gritty action, and brutal chaos. Further enhancing the authenticity, several cast members from the hit Prime Video series are reprising their roles, including Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), and a “twisted interpretation” of Soldier Boy by Jensen Ackles. Pre-orders for the digital edition are already available on Meta and PSVR2, confirming the franchise’s bold expansion into the immersive gaming space.
