Netflix has dropped the final trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s take on Mary Shelley’s classic Gothic fiction, Frankenstein.
The two-minute visual begins with Victor Frankenstein (Oscar Isaac) hiding in a tent, preparing to come face-to-face with his creature (Jacob Elordi) that’s lurking in the snowy outdoors. He’s taken by surprise, however, as his monstrous experiment grabs him from behind and drags him through the powder while his tent goes up in flames. The rest of the trailer offers glimpses of the creature’s creation, its interactions with Elizabeth Harlander (Mia Goth), the townspeople’s hunt for the creature and more.
Also joining Isaac, Elordi and Goth in the main cast are Christoph Waltz, Felix Kammerer, David
Bradley, Lars Mikkelsen, Christian Convery and Charles Dance. del Toro co-produces alongside J. Miles Dale and Scott Stuber.
