Lee has unveiled a limited collection of celebrity-loving Lee Rider and Storm Rider jackets to the Lee Archive. This archive capsule celebrates the jackets’ craftsmanship, offering a rare chance to own a piece of American denim heritage.
The jackets remain iconic across generations, inspiring designers, and reinterpreted in collaborations with Paul Smith, Buck Mason and Alpha among others. The Lee Rider was originally designed in 1948 for ranchers and cowboys, and features a shorter cut for movement, slanted pockets for ease and reinforced zigzag stitching for durability. Meanwhile, the Lee Storm Rider was introduced in 1953, adding an Alaskan blanket lining and a corduroy collar for extra warmth.
