Following their initial collaboration in May, Vans has once again partnered with Japanese artist Yusuke Hanai. This second collection captures the melancholic mood of Hanai lost in his thoughts while gazing at the autumn sky through a window with his beloved cat, conveying the sentimental feelings of both the cat and the season.

In contrast to the previous collaboration, which featured the Old Skool model, this collection showcases a redesigned Vans Premium Authentic model. The upper and foxing tape are adorned with a motif of a person and a cat observing floating clouds. Hand-drawn foxing lines enhance the design, and an artwork is revealed through the clear rubber waffle outsole.

Alongside the release of the Authentic model, the collection also includes a range of apparel, such as a coach jacket, hoodies, long sleeves, baggy pants, and a beanie. Each item is presented in a minimalist olive, black, and white color scheme, featuring the same artwork found on the shoes, alongside original “OFF THE WALL” and skateboarding logos.

The Yusuke Hanai x Vans collection will be released in phases, starting with a lottery on October 31 online. Advance sales are scheduled for November 7 at the Vans Harajuku store, followed by general sales on November 8.
