- The 2025 LVMH Prize winner will present SOSHIOTSUKI’s new collection in Florence with a special show-event
Soshi Otsuki, designer and founder of the eponymous label SOSHIOTSUKI, has been announced as Guest Designer for Pitti Uomo’s 109th edition in January 2026.
Pitti Uomo framed the appointment as a meeting of affinities, praising Otsuki’s “ambitious clarity” that fuses millennia‑old Japanese traditions with a contemporary sartorial awareness and a commercially minded sensibility likened to a Made in Japan seen through a Made in Italy lens. Francesca Tacconi, Special Events Coordinator at Pitti Immagine Uomo, described a strong rapport after encountering Otsuki in Tokyo, which led to the immediate invitation to premiere his work in the event.
The 109th edition is scheduled in Florence from January 13 – 16, 2026, where Otsuki will present a special fashion show‑event to showcase his Fall/Winter 2026 menswear collection. Fresh from winning the 2025 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, Otsuki also designed the look featured in the campaign for the next Pitti Uomo, signaling a central creative role in the edition’s visual identity.
