adidas Basketball is moving into the second chapter of its partnership with Anthony Edwards, launching the AE 2 “Alphadawg.” This upcoming colorway of Edwards’s second signature shoe is a clear nod to the Minnesota Timberwolves star’s confident, alpha-male presence on the court and his ability to lead the franchise.
The “Alphadawg” is an uncompromising study in black and white, featuring a sophisticated color scheme that still packs a punch. The upper utilizes reinforced mesh in a clean Footwear White for breathability, contrasted sharply by a Core Black inner bootie and lace paneling. Subtle hints of T-Wolves blue are strategically placed beneath the vented TPU cage and highlight the signature AE tongue logo, ensuring the shoe remains connected to his team.
