Nike is launching the Mind 002 “Light Smoke Grey,” a revolutionary sneaker that marks the debut of the new Nike Mind footwear platform. Developed over a decade in collaboration with the Nike Mind Science Department, this shoe moves beyond physical performance to actively engage the mind-body connection, helping athletes achieve focus, presence, and calm.

The core of the technology lies in the shoe’s unique sole unit, which features 22 independent foam nodes per shoe. These nodes are engineered to act like pistons, activating key sensory areas on the bottom of the foot to amplify ground sensation. The Mind 002 is the sneaker version of the platform, designed to securely anchor the foot to the stimulating footbed.
