The Straw Hat Pirates are officially ready to sail into the new year. Netflix has confirmed that the highly anticipated second season of its live-action adaptation, titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line, will premiere globally on March 10, 2026.
The announcement arrived with a dramatic first look that immediately excites long-time fans: a frosty new visual teasing Drum Island. Known for its brutal, unending winter and the emotional origin story of Tony Tony Chopper (who will debut this season), the island is a crucial stop in the crew’s journey. As co-showrunner Joe Tracz stated, the mantra for Season 2 is to “scale it all up,” promising giants, dinosaurs, and a dive into the belly of a whale.
The new eight-episode season will pick up right where the first left off, sending Iñaki Godoy’s Monkey D. Luffy and the crew into the perilous waters of the Grand Line. The journey will take them through iconic manga locations like Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, and the battlefield of Little Garden, introducing formidable new enemies—including the debut of the villainous Sir Crocodile and the Baroque Works organization.
