As part of Hypebeast’s 20th anniversary celebrations, eyewear brand Ray-Ban has released 100 special edition Mega Balorama sunglasses.

With Hypebeast following Ray-Ban’s journey over the years – from announcing A$AP Rocky’s recent appointment to reporting on its AI-enabled Orion glasses with Meta – the respective collaboration is a result of a close-knit alliance between the brand and our platform.

Continuing to bring Ray-Ban into the Hypebeast universe, the revival Mega Balorama silhouette undergoes a sleek gray makeover in honor of the anniversary’s Platinum theme. The frames, crafted from a gray propionate material, bring a translucent effect to the model, complemented by mirrored lenses and Hypebeast’s logo on the temple. For the finishing touch, the sunglasses come wrapped in a silver co-branded pack.

In addition to the limited-edition Mega Balorama drop, Hypebeast released an exclusive run of 20 individually numbered pairs at the 20th Anniversary Exhibition in the White Gallery, downtown Manhattan. Be sure to check out what went down on Instagram.
