Japanese outdoor specialist NANGA and New York lifestyle brand Saturdays NYC have unveiled their first collaboration, blending technical performance with urban sensibility. The partnership centers on a down jacket that highlights NANGA’s expertise in functional outerwear while incorporating the sleek, contemporary aesthetic that Saturdays NYC is known for.
The jacket is constructed using NANGA’s signature AURORA-TEX® fabric, a waterproof and breathable material boasting a water resistance of 20,000mm and breathability of 6,000g/m²/24hrs. Inside, it’s filled with 700-fill power recycled down (90/10), balancing warmth and lightness. A diamond quilt pattern enhances both insulation and visual appeal, while the silhouette has been slightly widened compared to traditional NANGA models, giving it a relaxed, city-ready fit. The design is further refined with smooth shoulder lines, reflecting Saturdays NYC’s minimalist approach.
