As the week in music comes to a close, Hypebeast has rounded up the best projects for the latest installment of Best New Tracks.

This week’s lineup is led by the late Mac Miller, Logic and Central Cee with 21 Savage, dropping the posthumous album Ballooneerism, the project Aquarius III and the collab “GBP,” respectively. Also joining this selection are offerings from Mick Jenkins, FearDorian with Polo Perks, Oklou with Bladee, Michi, Japanese Breakfast and Butcher Brown.

Mac Miller - Balloonerism

Mac Miller’s “lost” album, Balloonerism, is here. Released as his second posthumous album following Circles five years ago, the project was initially recorded in 2014 during the creation of his Faces mixtape and features a guest appearance from SZA and Miller’s musical alter ego, Delusional Thomas. “It is a project that was of great importance to Malcolm – to the extent that he commissioned artwork for it and discussions concerning when it should be released were had regularly, though ultimately GO:OD AM and subsequent albums ended up taking priority,” his family said in a statement. “We believe the project showcases both the breadth of his musical talents and fearlessness as an artist, given that unofficial versions of the album have circulated online for years and that releasing Balloonerism was something that Malcolm frequently expressed being important to him, we felt it most appropriate to present an official version of the project to the world.”

Mick Jenkins - Type Sh*t

Mick Jenkins debuts his newest five-track EP Type Sh*t. “A huge nod/ shoutout to the “type beat” culture on YouTube. All of the instrumentals on this project are “mick Jenkins type beats” that I found there,” he wrote. “I wanted to show love to that world, since it was truly where I began to find my way in rap. For me it really comes full circle as I prepare to truly find my way in the business of rap.”

Michi – “Snoobie”

Rising Stones Throw artist Michi unveils her debut album Dirty Talk (out February 28) with “Snoobie,” a track she explains “was my moment after being dumped of being like, I’m pissed! I was also witnessing other special women in my life go through so much struggle caused by men. It’s so crazy how men can have a hold over me sometimes. I used to say I hated them, but in fact I think I love them too much sometimes.”

Oklou x Bladee – “take me by the hand”

French vocalist, producer and composer Oklou links with Swedish rapper Bladee for his latest single, “take me by the hand.” The artist says of the song, “I wanted this song to sound like something ethereal but also very earthy – Bladee’s voice is helping to keep the feet on the ground.” Oklou’s debut album choke enough drops February 7.

Butcher Brown – “take me by the hand”

Jazz/hip-hop quintet Butcher Brown debuts their Letters From The Atlantic (out March 28) lead single, “Ibiza.” The group shares, “We recorded that joint with the idea of it tapping into deep house music – the kind you’d hear in a dance club in New York or the UK. We’re all producers, so we’re thinking of the samples a DJ would find and chop up into a groove. But do it all live, no samples, reimagining it in our own way.” They continue, “We’re paying tribute to DJs and producers that inspire us, like Theo Parrish, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Spinna, Karizma and DJ Scratch. We’re also trying to manifest our live debut in Ibiza once they hear it.”
