AMBUSH Delves Into Its Archives for New Book With Rizzoli
With contributions from Pharrell, Kid Cudi, Jun Takahashi, Hiroshi Fujiwara, G-Dragon, Kim Jones and more.

AMBUSH has announced the release of a book with Rizzoli chronicling the brand’s archive with additional contributions from its founders and longtime collaborators. Marking the label’s first-ever large-format book, the release is a testament to the legacy forged by founders YOON and VERBAL, who started AMBUSH as an experimental jewelry line in Tokyo 17 years ago.
The book begins with a foreword provided by Adrian Bianco of sabukaru, followed by an in-depth interview with YOON and VERBAL that narrates the history of the brand. From its conception in 2008 until today, the monograph embarks on a comprehensive review of AMBUSH’s early jewelry collections and later ready-to-wear fashion collections with detailed archival photos.
Additional contributions come from major names in various industries, including Pharrell, Kid Cudi, Jun Takahashi, Hiroshi Fujiwara, G-Dragon, Kim Jones and more.
In true AMBUSH fashion, the book is itself a work of art boasting a unique perforated canvas hardcover printed with a large AMBUSH logo. Behind it, images from AMBUSH campaigns and product details are visible through the holes creating a visual collage of the brand’s journey.
The self-titled AMBUSH book is set for release on March 4, 2025, but is now available for preorder via Rizzoli today for $65 USD. AMBUSH boutiques and select retailers will also begin selling the book following the release date.
