Since its global release in 2017, Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS has amassed over 150 million downloads worldwide. Celebrating the mobile game’s 8th anniversary, KONAMI has launched a crystal card collectible enshrining Seto Kaiba’s legendary beast, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and a ten-day celebration campaign rewarding players with a slew of in-game rewards. Fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise can enter a special giveaway hosted on Hypebeast’s Instagram to win this rare collectible.
Inspired by Kazuki Takahashi’s original manga Yu-Gi-Oh!, first serialized in SHUEISHA Inc.’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in 1996, and the official Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG), the ever-popular game Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS brings the nostalgia of your favorite characters to life in the palm of your hands and on PC. Harnessing the power of Yami Yugi, Jaden Yuki, Yusei Fudo, and more, Duelists worldwide have collected over 65 billion cards and competed in 6 billion Duels.
Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS‘ 8th-anniversary celebration marks this incredible milestone with an in-game celebration campaign. Starting January 12 (JST), players who log in each day will receive novel accessories and rewards, as well as 1,000 free Gems, a Skill Ticket, a Character Unlock Ticket and various log-in bonuses that will amplify their gameplay in SPEED DUEL and RUSH DUEL.
Limited to 50 models total, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon crystal card captures the mysterious presence of one of the most dynamic and esteemed characters within the Yu-Gi-Oh! lore. The eye-catching sculpture features a 3D etched design of the formidable dragon, created in the likeness of the original TCG graphic. The sphere sits atop an oversized card display housed in frosted acrylic panels. Below, an LED light base illuminates the stunning collector’s item, creating a noteworthy centerpiece display.
Since this collectible will not be available for sale, Hypebeast and KONAMI are hosting an upcoming giveaway on January 13 – 20. Fans of the franchise have an exciting opportunity to win the stunning crystal card, with twenty units released exclusively through Hypebeast. The rules to enter the giveaway are as follows: fans must follow Hypebeast and DUEL LINKS on Instagram, like the official giveaway post (presented above) and comment on their favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! card.
