Gumtree Golf & Nature Club's Latest Collection Casts a Wide Net
Honoring the link between golf, fishing and the outdoors.
Over the last few years Gumtree Golf & Nature Club has carved out a niche in the golf/lifestyle space by exploring golf’s close relationship with the outdoors. Underlining that is an appreciation for outdoor activities that have a similar meditative quality, so it’s no wonder that the Brooklyn-based brand decided to dedicate its latest collection to the universal pastime of fishing.
“Nature Club,” is akin to past GGNC drops in that it includes both new and upcycled garments as well as accessories that solidify the collection’s purpose while being more than just mantle pieces. For the upcycled pieces, Gumtree teamed up with fishing wear shop Vintage Trouts, picking out a selection of garments from heritage brands like Orvis, L.L. Bean and Filson and adding “Nature Club” embroidery. The new items, on the other hand, borrow imagery from a cult classic reference book “How to tie flies”. The long sleeve depicts the 12-step process to tie a fly fishing knot while the short sleeve portrays the anatomy of a dry fly lure.
The aforementioned accessories are highlighted by the Dimple & Divot x GGNC Uni Knot Brushes. The 100% hickory brushes designed for cleaning club grooves are engraved with GGNC branding and housed in custom wooden boxes. You can browse the full collection now on the Gumtree website.
