Don’t Miss These Game-Changing Features on Microsoft’s New Copilot+ PCs
Discover how to make the most of its new AI-powered technology.
It goes without saying that AI has been at the forefront of a new digital age, changing the way that tech powerhouses enhance and redefine the functionality of their products. For Microsoft, the acceleration of AI innovation around the PC poses an inflection point where it aims to set the frame for the next decade of Windows.
Playing a key role in its latest chapter is the new Surface Laptop and Surface Pro integrated with Copilot+ AI. Hailed as the fastest and most intelligent Windows PCs on the market today, the two Surface computers received critical acclaim for their seamless design of the new software with a neural processing unit powered by Snapdragon® X Series. Providing enhanced speed and smoother performance, they serve their users with a more meaningful digital experience.
This considered approach to building its new fleet of computers has also proved to break down the barriers that people are faced with when trying to achieve their “million-dollar ideas.” Wanting to discover what prevents communities from bringing their ideas to life, Microsoft surveyed over 2000 people from the UK, and of its long list of findings, a stand-out statistic revealed that 44% of British people feel inspired to start new projects every week but, with a 30% feeling a lack of confidence or 29% noting a lack of time, are never complete. In another, 19% said they lacked the necessary skills while 17% felt they didn’t have the right tools, and a massive 63% said they couldn’t articulate their ideas.
So, how can Copilot+ PCs assist your next venture or side hustle? From the get-go, users will be able to play around with the new Window Studio Effects feature built into both Surface products. This setting focuses on AI-powered video call and audio effects – from creative filters and portrait adaptation to eye contact autocue and live captions with the translation of 44 languages, each function seamlessly enhances communication, giving online meetings a professional edge.
Aiming to help people create their vision, Microsoft has also launched a Cocreator feature which repurposes its famous Paint application to accommodate an AI-powered design tool. Quickly bringing new visuals to life, it uses text and image prompts to build sketches, renders, and other works, allowing users to flex their creative muscles even under the tightest of time constraints.
Beyond the two stand-out features, users will also be able to treat their computer as a personal companion with Copilot+ obtaining information fast. Whether you are trying to find a local vendor, create a detailed itinerary or manage timelines, the AI assistant is designed to supercharge productivity and give creators more time to focus on big tasks without having to remember the small details. With all the features packaged into the thin and easily moveable Surface devices, the brand continues to enhance efficiency and foster creativity, whether working on the go or sitting at home.
